Combined with Pulsed Wave (PW) NMR detector and advanced signal processing， it provides significant performance improvements over the previous generation Metrolab PT2025 Teslameter (Gaussmeter).

The Metrolab MFC2046 Magnetic Field Camera utilizes a proton NMR sensor Array to simultaneously measure up to 32 field points with better than 5ppm absolute accuracy and 0.1ppm relative accuracy in 0.5 to 2 seconds. The very high resolution and stability of the MFC also enable measurement of magnet stability and noise effects.
